OgilvyAction roped in for CarPlus’ retail promotional business

Following a multi-agency pitch, Lucas Indian Services Ltd (part of the TVS Group), has decided on OgilvyAction to handle retail promotional business for its venture CarPlus, which is into organised car accessory retail.

Following a multi-agency pitch, Lucas Indian Services Ltd (part of the TVS Group), has decided on OgilvyAction to handle retail promotional business for its venture CarPlus, which is into organised car accessory retail.

Confirming the development, Rahul Saigal, Vice President - Shopper & Trade Marketing, OgilvyAction, said, “The agency has won this business following a multi-agency pitch. Our immediate responsibilities include designing and setting up stores for CarPlus across India and driving shoppers to these stores.”

CarPlus plans to set up over 100 stores in 32 cities over the next five years.

Names of the agencies that had taken part in the pitch couldn’t be ascertained at the time of filing the report, however, it was known that in the final round, it was narrowed to Mudra and OgilvyAction.

OgilvyAction is the brand activation arm of the Ogilvy Group.
