P Subramanian elected President of Advertising Club Madras
P Subramanian, Director – Client Servicing, Ogilvy & Mather Chennai, has been elected the President of Advertising Club Madras for the year 2010-11 at the Club’s AGM held on April 23. The office bearers and executive committee members elected include: Seshadri Iyer, Karthic Moorthy, S Sadhasivan, and KR Skandraaj.
P Subramanian, Director – Client Servicing, Ogilvy & Mather Chennai, has been elected the President of Advertising Club Madras for the year 2010-11 at the Club’s AGM held on April 23. Subramanian has held several positions in the Club over the years, including that of Vice-President, before he was elected the 38th President of the Club.
The office bearers and executive committee members elected include: Seshadri Iyer of Television18 (Vice-President), Karthic Moorthy of Elegant Publicities (Secretary), S Sadhasivan of Layam Advertising (Treasurer), and KR Skandraaj of Sovereign Media Marketing, part of Malar Publications Ltd, (Joint Secretary).
Other executive committee members include R Seshadri, immediate Past President; Ninan Thariyan of The Times of India; N Baagyalakshmi of Out of Home Media (I) Pvt Ltd; Sindhu Raghavan of GroupM Media; NJ Ramesh of Lowe, and P Sivaprasad of Vikatan Group.
V Kalidas of The Hindu and Jagannath Ramaswamy of Crystal, both Past Presidents of the Club, have also been nominated to the Executive Committee.
