Following a multi-agency pitch of seven agencies in a fray, Staple Future Office has awarded the creative duties to Saints & Warriors. There is no incumbent agency as this was the first pitch called after the company’s launch in India on January 18 this year. Sources close to the development confirm that the account size estimated is around Rs 8-10 crore. The media duties are being handled by Starcom India.

Staple Future Office is a multinational joint venture with Pantaloon Retail Ltd, and its new office products business unit Future Office.

Confirming the developments, Shailesh Karwa, Co-CEO, Staple Future Office, said, “The reason to award Saint & Warrior for the creative duties is because the agency’s creative inputs are very fresh. The second reason is that we wanted localisation of the brand in India.”

On the win, Pushpinder Singh, Founder, Saints & Warriors, said, “Staple Future Office is a very significant win as it is the world’s largest stationery brand. Another aspect that excites us about the win is that it gives us a chance to work with the Future Group.”

Staples Future Office will serve businesses of all sizes through delivery as well as cash-and-carry locations, offering a wide range of office products from core office supplies to printers to computers.
