Omnicom has won the creative mandate of Air India Express. The news has been confirmed to e4m by sources close to the development.

The account is retainer in nature and sources told us that the contract has been signed. It was a multi-agency pitch where the company wanted to revamp the brand identity and come up with content that attracted new-age audiences.

e4m reached out to both Omnicom  and Air India for an official confirmation of the news but is yet to get a reply.

In October, Air India Express and AirAsia India, both subsidiaries of the Tata-owned Air India, unveiled a common refreshed branding Air India Express on a new Boeing 737 –8 aircraft.

With a modern look and bold, bright colours and aircraft livery, the airline invited guests to "Fly As You Are”.
