WPP Media China has announced the appointment of Tina Chen as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The company confirmed the leadership update through a LinkedIn post, stating, “We’re proud to announce the appointment of Tina Chen as CEO of WPP Media China, effective March 30, 2026.”
Tina spent the past five years with Shiseido China Region as Senior Vice President. She initially joined as Chief Digital Officer, where she led a comprehensive digital transformation focused on “consumer-centric” and “data-driven” strategies. Her work spanned consumer and market insights, digital media and marketing, corporate e-commerce and social commerce incubation, analytics and data platforms, as well as digital technology and AI-led innovation initiatives in the market.
Her responsibilities later expanded when she took on the role of Chief Digital & Strategy Officer, where she also oversaw regional growth strategy and the company’s broader transformation roadmap.
Chen brings extensive expertise across corporate strategy, innovation, consumer insights, data and analytics, media and marketing, as well as e-commerce and social media. She also carries deep sector experience across beauty and luxury, retail, FMCG, and financial services.
