Senior journalist Ajay Kumar Singh has been appointed as Press Secretary to President Ram Nath Kovind, as per media reports.
At present, Singh is a contributor for Firstpost.
The appointment has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Singh takes over from Ashok Malik. He was also Editor with magazine Governance Now.
