Amit Khare back as Secretary with I&B Ministry
Khare was first appointed for this post in May 2018; Ravi Mittal took charge last December
Amit Khare has been appointed as Information & Broadcasting Ministry Secretary for the second time.
Khare was first appointed for this post in May 2018. He is currently the Higher Education Secretary in the HRD ministry.
Khare will take charge from Ravi Mittal who took charge of the post in December last year.
Khare is a 1985 batch IAS Officer and has served in various crucial roles in the government, including Joint Secretary in HRD Ministry and Secretary, I&B Ministry for Jharkhand.
