Bajaj Allianz Life has appointed Santanu Banerjee as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Banerjee will lead the HR function and will be responsible for strategic direction of people management, including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, organisational effectiveness, and succession planning.
He comes with over two decades of versatile experience in human resources and has a wealth of experience across the insurance sector.
Before joining Bajaj Allianz Life, he worked with Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance as Executive VP and CHRO.
Prior to that, he has also worked with ING Vysya Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, and HATHWAY Cable & Dotcom.
