The 44th e-auction allotment of MPEG-2 slots of DD Free Dish is underway and according to sources Bucket A+ channel slots have been awarded to highest bidders - Sheemaro GEC, Dangal, Big Magic and ABZY Cool.
A total of 54 channels had submitted their bids on February 19.
Unlike the 42nd e-auction where applications for bids was accepted for MPEG-2 slots of DD Free Dish DTH Platform on a pro-rata basis for the period 01.12.2019 to 29.02.2020, the 44th e-auction is for an annual term for the period - 01.04.2020 to 31.03.2021.
