Dentsu Aegis Network to restructure Singapore operations
The restructuring will lead to layoff of around 2 per cent of workforce
Dentsu Aegis Network has announced that it is restructuring its Singapore operations, according to media reports. The reports mention that the restructuring will lead to layoff of around 2 per cent of its workforce.
The announcement was reportedly made in a media call on Monday. Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific and Phil Teeman, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Singapore and South East Asia announced that Singapore office will be broken into three components.
The first component will be called Brand Solutions, the second will be named One Singapore Media Grouphe and the third one will be ‘internal virtual team’.
The reports said that the officials did reveal the exact number of staff that will lose jobs. Waters is said to have said that these staff will get “appropriate exit packages”.
