VP and MD Yahoo! India, Gurmit Singh has stepped down from the top position at Yahoo!
He has confirmed to exchange4media that he will soon be joining another company, the details of which are yet to be known.
Singh joined Yahoo! India in 2014. He was tasked with overseeing Yahoo’s business in India and was responsible for its growth in the country.
Prior to joining Yahoo Singh was Chief Executive Officer of Forbes India business magazine, published by media and entertainment conglomerate Network18 Media and Investments Ltd.
With 20 years of experience, Singh has held leadership positions in several companies such as Sony Music Entertainment India, HT Media Ltd, the India Today Group, Rajshri Media (Pvt.) Ltd and Marico Ltd,
