James Murdoch exits News Corp's Board of Directors
The son of media mogul Rupert Murdoch reportedly stepped down citing ideological differences over editorial content
James Murdoch, son of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, has reportedly resigned from News Corp's Board of Directors citing ideological differences over editorial content.
Murdoch had earlier resigned from the family-owned Fox News, where his brother Lachlan serves as CEO. He had also previously criticised The Wall Street Journal's coverage of climate change news.
News reports suggest that Murdoch junior and his father are at loggerheads over political ideologies with the former supporting the Democratic Party and the latter backing Republican Party's Donald Trump.
