Just Urbane appoints Aninda Sardar as Editor

Luxury lifestyle magazine Just Urbane has appointed Aninda Sardar as its Editor. Sardar has over a decade and a half’s experience in publishing.
Publisher and chairman of Million Group, Abhishek Kulkarni said, “We are proud and excited to have him on the team and welcome him warmly into the Just Urbane family. I have known him for some time now and have even worked with him in the past. A go-getter and a truly evolved man with varied interests, I wish him all the best in his role.”
Sardar, who took over the reins of the magazine on February 11, is equally excited about his role. “I am truly delighted with the appointment and am looking forward to a new phase in my professional life. I thank Abhishek for this opportunity and for the warmth with which I have been welcomed. I have met the team and they are an extremely enthusiastic and talented bunch who I know will do great things for the magazine,” he said.
His work life spans 15 years during which he has worked in the publishing industry both in India and abroad. Prior to joining Million Media, Sardar was first Assistant Editor and then Senior Assistant Editor of evo India and Fast Bikes India magazines. He has also served in the role of Assistant Editor of Car India and Bike India magazines.
His interests include diverse subjects like travel, leisure, movies, reading, music, politics, history and even rudimentary culinary arts. He has also dabbled in Public Relations in a client consultancy role and brings with him a unique perspective that bridges these two complementing areas of work – Journalism and PR.
