The Hindu Business Line editor R Srinivasan has announced his retirement through a tweet today. The senior journalist was with the newspaper for the last eight years and eleven months and was associated with media houses like BCCL, Business Standard, Ananda Bazar Patrika Limited, HT Media and Mail Today in the past.
Srinivasan began his career as Sales Officer for J.K Industries Limited in 1980. A mass-media communications specialist, he had spent a decade in sales and marketing before he took up journalism.
After four and half exciting and challenging years at the helm of India's finest business newspaper, and after 40 years of work life, I have retired as Editor of @businessline . Any ideas for a freshly minted senior citizen??
