Sunita Rajan steps down as Senior VP, Advertising Sales, at CNN

Sunita Rajan, Senior Vice President Advertising Sales, CNN, has announced her resignation through a LinkedIn post. She has been with the organisation since 2015, joining as Vice President Advertising Sales, CNNI Commercial.
She wrote: "After more than 5 years of working with one of the most trusted and iconic brands in the News business, I have decided that it is time for me to move on to new endeavours. Looking back at the time spent with CNN, I am incredibly proud of the spectacular and resilient Asia team that I have had the privilege to lead and I will cherish the creative brilliance in delivering business results with exemplary team work."
She stated she used her time to reflect on her passion and interest to pursue new challenges that need innovative solutions." The last few months have allowed me to open my mind, especially to new possibilities for digital transformation and creating value and opportunities in the next normal. I am keen to collaborate with likeminded industry peers and organizations to bring these ideas to life," she wrote.
Before CNN, Rajan was associated with BBC Worldwide Asia for over 16 years. Prior to that, she had worked for Newscorp and Star TV.
