Coca-Cola is on the verge of announcing changes in its India operations. Indications are that it will release a statement tonight in Atlanta splitting its marketing and bottling operations in the country. John Eustace, head of one of Coke’s largest bottlers in the world, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling company, is tipped to become the head of the bottling operations in India.

Leading Kannada daily, Vijaya Karnataka, has entered the eveninger space in Bangalore from Friday. The evening edition, also called ‘Vijaya Karnataka’, is priced at Rs 2. In another development, all mainline Kannada dailies have raised their price from the current Rs 2 to Rs 2.50, owing to an increase in input costs.
