Rakshit Hangal has quit 360 Degrees Entertainment, (part of the Times Group) as Assistant Vice-President, North India. He was responsible for handling the entire functions of the company, including decision-making and administration. Hangal will be starting his own agency – ME Marketing – in Mumbai in December.

Bhuvan Lall appointed President of Hollywood-based film production, distribution & exhibition company SPICE
Bhuvan Lall, former Executive Director of IBF, has been appointed President of SPICE, the $100 million Los Angeles-based film production, distribution and exhibition company. Lall will head the global operations of SPICE. The company is also opening the largest eight-screen multiplex in North India – SPICE PVR Cinemas – on November 30.

November 14, 2005 witnessed substantial amount of activity in Hindi general entertainment channels with STAR One launching ‘India Calling’ in its 9.30 pm slot and ‘Darna Mana Hai’ in the 10.00 pm slot. On the same day, Sahara One launched ‘Kittu… Sab Jantii Hai’ in its 9.30 pm slot. Media experts aren’t really excited with at least the opening numbers of the shows.
