After opening with a bang on Day 1, India’s Day 2 performance was down a few notches at the French Riviera, bagging only three bronze Lions across two categories - Outdoor and Print&Publishing Lions at the 65th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
In the Outdoor Lions category where India bagged four shortlists, agencies won two bronze Lions in all. Creativeland Asia’s creatives titled Madhubani, Pattachitra, Warli for Mercedes Benz India won a bronze Lion. In the same category Grey India’s The Health Purse (Sehat Ka Batua) for Mahindra Rise also secured a bronze Lion.
McCann India’s Five Status Words campaign for Harpic that showed the harmful effects of open defecation has bagged a bronze in Print and Publishing Lions.
Entries shortlisted in Mobile and Design Lions did not get converted into awards.
