Rishi Pratim Mukherjee finds his eternal peace at home on a typical weekend by reading his all time favourite books or simply switching off
Regardless of his busy schedule through the week, Rishi Pratim Mukherjee, co-founder and COO of ScoopWhoop, makes sure his Saturdays start off with full zeal and zest. Dedicated to his work and coming from a background of being a content creator and distributor, Mukherjee finds his eternal peace at home on weekends by reading his all time favourite books. Though not an adventure junkie, in an interaction with exchange4media, Mukherjee confessed his love for exploring and how he loves to visit places of historical interests. One chat with the man behind the winning story of ScoopWhoop and we realise that with great success comes great responsibilities but that it is equally important to make sure that there is balance between your work and personal life. Read on to know more:
Your idea of me time…
Any passage of time which helps you ruminate and ‘switch off’ from your surroundings. It doesn’t have to be a specific time in a day or a week, it could also be just 5 minutes while working where you sit back and get some perspective on things. Alternately, this could also happen when you’re relaxing or are on holiday.

How do you maintain work-life balance?
I try and stick to a routine where I have set patterns to when I’m working (whether in office or at home) and when I’m completely logged out of work. There are certain activities like gymming and reading which I devote myself to completely. They act as therapy and help me cut off from my work
On a typical weekend you will find me..
Chilling at home reading a book or catching up on a movie/TV show

One vice I cannot do without..
My love for Irish whiskey. Although I consume it in moderation, It is something that I enjoy especially in the company of select friends
I confess, I am a...
Late riser
The last show I binged watched...
Altered Carbon (Netflix)
I love my holidays to be...
leisurely and well spread out. I’m not big on adventure sports nor am I an adrenaline junkie. I like to soak in the history, culture and the people of any new place I’m visiting. I also prefer big cities to quaint towns and countryside.
A skill I want to learn this year..
Networking!
Your next vacation/adventure will be..
I’ve never been to Europe, so hopefully I should be visiting there soon.
