Siddharth Samant, Senior Content Launch Manager at Amazon miniTV, passed away on June 28, 2024, due to cardiac arrest. He was 33.

Samant had been with Amazon for over seven years, making significant contributions to its content lineup. Before joining Amazon, he worked as a Creative Producer at Taxi Fabric and a product developer at SXC Technology.
At Amazon miniTV, Samant was instrumental in launching several popular shows, including -Case Toh Banta Hai, Hip Hop India, Physicswallah, Yeh Meri Family, Playground, Crushed S2, Half Love Half Arranged, Hustlers, and the Mini Movie Festival (Short Films). He also led brand marketing efforts for the platform.
The mood at Amazon miniTV has been very sombre after this tragic news and his contributions and leadership is being deeply missed by his colleagues.
