Akshay Chaturvedi, former business head of Zigwheels.com, has joined Housefull International, a retail furnishings chain, as co-founder and joint CEO.
He would be driving the overall business strategy & setting up the ecommerce operations based out of Gurgaon.
Housefull International has been popular in the furniture business in the Western & Southern markets, and is now looking to invest significantly into setting up an omni-channel retail set-up, first of its kind in India with a significant thrust around the e-commerce side of business.
Prior to the Times Group, Chaturvedi was a retail and CPG consultant with KSA -Technopak, where he was instrumental in consulting retailers like Reliance Retail, Marks & Spencers, Bharti Walmart, Vision Express, Landmark Group, and Borders, among other marquee names.
He has also consulted consumer goods majors like HUL, P&G, Marico and Microsoft for key assignments with respect to modern retail strategy.
