Hungama Mobile enables 'Sivaji The Boss' on digital platforms

Hungama Mobile is cashing on the hype of the Tamil movie ‘Sivaji The Boss’, with the sales of the movie’s content on the digital platform.

‘Sivaji-The Boss’, the much hyped multi-crore movie starring Rajnikanth, is currently creating a lot of buzz. Hungama Mobile has grabbed the opportunity to cash-in from the ‘Sivaji’ fever running across the country by providing mobile content for downloads. The company has made available the mobile content of the movie across various spectrums such as games, images, videos, songs and ringtones.

Announcing the launch, Saleem Mobhani, COO, Hungama Mobile observed, “After taking Bollywood on global digital platforms, Tamil music was the next logical frontier, with a large diaspora and an extremely passionate audience for its cinema.”

Hungama Mobile has also developed the mobile games and applications for the movie and even ‘Picture Books’ consisting of Rajnikant’s images from the movie, along with an online trivia around it. The songs from the movie are available for download from the online iTunes store.

SC Babu, CEO, AVM, noted, “This provides a great opportunity for Tamil music, as the worldwide popularity of iTunes means that we can reach out to Tamil music fans and the Tamil diaspora online, wherever they are. We are proud to have achieved a milestone by making the music of ‘Sivaji The Boss’ available on iTunes.” AVM has produced the film.

The official note stated that the movie has also recorded the highest ever monotone downloads of 50,000 in a day of any movie. In total, Hungama Mobile has deployed Sivaji content across 33 countries with more than 70 operators and partners.
