At LinkedIn's B2Believe conference, Abhishek Shrivastava, VP Product, LinkedIn revealed that the platform will now have ads in Hindi, as its Indian users continue to grow and the company tries to expand its B2B ad market in the country. This will be the first vernacular language in India to be available for ads on the platform.
Abhishek, during the session about AI products on LinkedIn, also said that the company plans to venture into other Indian languages as well for its advertisement over time.
This move comes at a time when marketers are continuously trying to delve deeper into the Indian market and look more into reaching the audience through vernacular languages and regional content.
