Social media influencer-cum-entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia on Friday bagged the 'Disruptor of the Year' award for 'The Ranveer Show' podcast at the National Creators Award. The awards were presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.
Ranveer Allahbadia, who is popularly called BeerBiceps, is the founder of BeerBiceps Pvt Ltd. He was once an engineering student, but now runs his firm which currently has six YouTube channels with over seven million online followers or subscribers.
“I come from a family of doctors, but I knew I didn’t want to follow in their footsteps,” he writes in his auto-biography. Allahabdia began his journey on YouTube in 2015 to document his fitness transformation.
He then also went on to launch his startups. At 26, he co-founded Monk Entertainment, or Monk-E, which offers influencer marketing, social media management, digital advertising, and video production services. Monk-E has worked with a list of marquee clients, including Nykaa Man, Groww, SkillShare, Sony Music, and WOW Skin Science. He is also the co-founder of the content platform BigBrainCo.
Presently, Allahbadia is largely becoming the ‘talk of social town’ with his podcast, The Ranveer Show, that has hosted a range of celebrities across segments. Be it global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas or Zomato’s founder and the newest shark on Shark Tank Deepinder Goyal, several celebs have delved into life altering conversations on this podcast.
Allahbadia first ventured into podcasting in 2018, when he partnered with IVM Podcasts and launched TRS in 2019. In April 2023, fashion and lifestyle brand AJIO became a brand partner for ‘TRS’ for 16 episodes. Even PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew is a partner on the podcast, primarily for the creation of “Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai” Stories.
The podcast’s Instagram handle has close to 500K followers, while Allahbadia has more than a million followers on his personal handle. The BeerBiceps account houses more than 3 million followers on Instagram.
