National Creators Award: Kamiya Jani of Curly Tales gets Best Travel Creator honour

Travel and lifestyle content creator, and Founder of Curly Tales, Kamiya Jani, has received the Government of India’s ‘Best Travel Creator’ award.

She was part of the content creators honoured at the National Creators Award in New Delhi on Friday.

While receiving the award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jani spoke of her experience of travelling across India. “Filhal confused hu Lakshadweep jaun ya Dwarka”, she quipped.

The National Creators Award is an effort to recognize excellence and impact across domains, including storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming among others. The award has been envisioned as a launchpad for using creativity to drive positive change.

Kamiya Jani is a travel blogger, entrepreneur and content creator known for her work in the travel and lifestyle space.

She gained popularity through her travel blog and YouTube channel called ‘Curly Tales’.

Jani has 15 lakh followers for Curly Tales and eight lakh-plus on her Instagram handle. On YouTube, Curly Tales has 29.5 lakh subscribers.

Jani started her career as a business reporter and anchor and has worked with TV channels like ET NOW, Bloomberg TV and CNBC TV18.
