Rishi Jaitly, VP, Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa for Twitter has quit the company after spending more than 4 years at Twitter.
He made this announcement on Twitter today via a series of tweets.
Today, after 4 years of user/business momentum in India & the region, I’m sharing my intention to move on to new opportunities, same mission

Jaitly had joined Twitter back in 2012 as India Market Director.
Building/leading @TwitterIndia, and expanding @TwitterMedia across Asia Pacific & Middle East, was the leadership experience of a lifetime.

Though it remains unknown what his future venture will be, Jaitly tweeted, "My mission remains the same: harness tech/media’s scale to connect users/citizens to their voice/agency/leadership in places they care about. I myself care deeply about the United States, India, emerging markets & intend to devote myself to building bridges in service of my mission."
He further stated that he would be leaving for Chicago for some personal commitments, he would be spending a significant amount of time in India/Asia.
