Computer and videogame magazine SKOAR! has announced that India’s biggest Gaming event, SKOAR! 2006, would be held from July 7 to 9, 2006, at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bangalore.

Last year, the event saw over 30,000 people converge at the MMRDA Grounds, Mumbai, experiencing the best that interactive entertainment in all its forms had to offer. SKOAR! 2006 is expected to attract close to 50,000 footfalls. With its promise of being bigger and better, it carries ‘2 Hot 2 Handle!’ as its slogan this year.

Maulik Jasubhai, Publisher of SKOAR! and CEO of Jasubhai Digital Media, said, “We’re looking to recreate the completely immersive and interactive gaming experience in India. This event was so successful in Mumbai that this time around, we’re going to do it in a stadium! On a more serious note, gaming experiences are going to define the skills and abilities of the new generation. Whether it be problem solving, creativity or logic, the games of tomorrow will help decipher the complexity of our own existence”.

SKOAR! is positioned as a computer and video gaming magazine, created for gamers, by gamers.
