Anthony Pettifer, Group Director, Brand & Comm, INX Media:

If given a choice to choose between sessions and networking, it would honestly depend on the sessions that I attend. As for networking, nowadays, networking can be done through various mediums. With the growing popularity of technology, mobile networking has today become very famous. But the fact is that FICCI Frames as a forum is an excellent platform for networking. This is my first year to FICCI Frames and I’m really looking forward to some great sessions.

Ravi Sardana, Senior VP, ICICI Securities:

No doubt that this is a great platform for networking, but if given a choice as to what is popular at FICCI Frames – sessions or networking, it depends on personal viewpoints. As for my viewpoint, it is a 50-50 choice. Both go hand-in-hand.

Yogesh Karikurve, GM, Marketing, Big Animation:

This year, the session topics sound interesting than last year. So I am looking forward to attending some of the sessions. However, I have always enjoyed networking and the food at FICCI.

Anant Panshikar, Corporate Communications, Videocon Industries Ltd:

This year the sessions look more promising and interesting. So definitely they will manage to grab more eyeballs, as this year FICCI Frames has concentrated more on Regional media, and I’m very glad that we will witness sessions in that regards. So my vote goes for sessions than networking this year.

Krishna Shah, Chairman, Movie Moghuls Pvt Ltd:

I have been coming to this forum since many years. And what I have experienced is that it’s definitely a popular platform for networking. One gets to meet new people as well as old friends and colleagues. FICCI has always made me wonder on its new ways of taking the forum forward and they have certainly come a long way now. So if I have to vote from sessions or networking, my vote shall go for networking opportunity at FICCI Frames.

Rajeev Berry, GM-Content & Entertainment, GroupM ESP:

FICCI for me has always been popular for networking. I agree that sessions are also important, but networking is more important than the sessions. I have always supported the marvelous opportunity to network here. But this year, I find the number of people comparatively less than last year. Hope to see more crowd in the forthcoming two days.

Peter Englert, Media & ICT Industries:

I have been a regular visitor at FICCI Frames and I never miss to attend it. Where I see great opportunity is meeting new people and gain fruitful business. I also notice that the sessions are very important in such forums. So according to me, definitely, sessions are more popular at FICCI Frames.

Sunanda S Oberoi, Producer, Oberoi Films:

My choice is purely networking. This is a great forum for networking and I have always looked forward to networking at FICCI. If you ask me about sessions, it will depend on what I have to attend.

Amitkumar Dev, MD & Co-Founder, Broadband-Tech Pvt Ltd:

When one asks what is more popular - sessions or networking, it’s like asking whether your hand or either your leg is more important. What I mean is that both of the things need to go hand in hand. It’s only through sessions that one understands the dynamics of a particular topic, which can later be discussed in the day through networking.

Kapil Sharma, Advisor-Global Content:

I feel both are important in their places. I cannot comment on any one of them. However, this year sessions seem to be interesting. I am looking forward for better networking as well.

Yogesh Lakhani, Chairman & MD, Bright Advertising:

We are the Outdoor media partner. And definitely I rank networking to be popular. However, I have heard some good words about the sessions. Thus the beauty is working at FICCI with its sessions as well. But I always look forward for networking at the forum that it has always been in the last few years.
