'Paiso ki Baarish' My FM style

My FM has come up with an initiative to make its listeners fulfil their obsession for money by giving them an opportunity to literally get richer every hour. To break the monotonous routine, the FM station has brought a quick money making activity, called ‘Paiso ki Baarish’. The week-long activation began on July 19 and will cover seven cities – Indore, Bhopal, Raipur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Nagpur.

Commenting on this initiative, Harrish M Bhatia, CEO, My FM, said “94.3 My FM has had a reputation of being a listeners’ radio. Taking a step forward, we want to reciprocate the love and loyalty that the listeners have shown towards us in all these years. By introducing ‘Paiso ki Baarish’, we endeavour to spread the spirit of ‘Jiyo Dil Se’ by connecting it with the love for money.”

He further said, “The entire activity will last over a period of one week with promotions being directed at the listeners through 360 degree approach of print, radio, online, SMS push and pull and on-ground activity, which includes My FM OB RJ with the ‘Maal-Gaadi’. In print, we are promoting through Dainik Bhaskar, besides My FM radio and Dainik Bhaskar websites.”

‘Paiso ki Baarish’ will revolve around My FM Maal Gaadi, a car containing a see-through box filled and sealed with cash inside, which will be flagged off every day from different locations in the city by a local celebrity and will travel as per route plan covering key touch points and residential societies to create awareness and drive participation for this activity. At each location, a My FM RJ will request the listeners to guess the amount in the box to win cash every hour. The listener who guesses the closest to the estimated amount can win the entire cash.

To be a part of this high energy shortcut funda to become rich every hour, listeners will have to spot the box in the city and send an SMS on 54567 with their guess. The RJ during that hourly programme would pick a winner with the closest guess and announce it live on air. The activity will be done for a duration of 10 hours, thereby giving 10 lucky listeners a chance to transform their lives. At the end of the activity, one winner will be chosen for grand prize of Rs 1 lakh.
