Aaj Tak Care Awards honour corporate houses for CSR activities
Mahindra & Mahindra, The Lemon Tree Hotel Company and Aamir Khan are among the award winners this year
Aaj Tak organised the second edition of its Care Awards in Delhi on August 27, 2013. The Awards honour Corporate India and reward its efforts for empowering the society.
The anthem for the Aaj Tak Care Awards was also launched by actor Ajay Devgn. It is said to be the first crowd-sourced anthem.

Awardee - Mahindra & Mahindra
Recognition- Shree Renuka Sugars and SRF
Healthcare:
Awardee - Amul Dairy - Kaira District
Environment:
Recognition - JK Tyres and Royal Bank of Scotland
Empowerment:
Awardee - The Lemon Tree Hotel Company
Recognition - Dharampal Satyapal
Individual:
Awardee - Aamir Khan
Also present at the Awards were Sachin Pilot, Minister of Corporate Affairs and cricketer Yuvraj Singh, besides Ajay Devgn.
All the received entries were evaluated on various parameters by the IMRB and then were passed on to FICCI to select six nominees in each category. The final list of these six nominees was submitted to the panel of jury members.
