ACK-Media's Tinkle wins best publication for children award
ACK-Media's Tinkle Holiday Special won the award for best publication for children of the year at the 2nd Comic Con India awards.
Tinkle Holiday Special Magazine of ACK Media won the award for the best publication for children of the Yyear at the 2nd Comic Con India Awards 2011.
The category included single issues of comic books/ magazines and illustrated novels aimed at younger readers.
The Jungle book, The Kashmiri storyteller and three men in a boat were the other nominees in this category amongst whom Tinkle Holiday Special won the award.
Comic Con is an International Comic Congress that has come to India in 2011 in Delhi. Comic Con India in a short span of time has become a benchmark event for the Indian comic industry.
Tinkle Holiday Special (37) was a special issue of the popular kids magazine that had lot of fun activities and fascinating stories for children to read through their vacations. Tinkle sells around 2.5 million copies per year. It is India’s No.1 English magazine for children and also the most loved one.
