Amitabh Bachchan honoured as first-ever ‘India’s Prime Icon’
After an extensive online voting poll, and expert comments from opinion leaders – Prasoon Joshi, Malvika Sanghvvi and Suhel Seth – Bachchan has been declared winner of the first-ever ‘India’s Prime Icon’
After chronicling the inspirational lives of some of India’s most illustrious names in a quest to give India its true role-model, Big CBS Prime’s show ‘India’s Prime Icon’ has revealed that Amitabh Bachchan has bagged the coveted title. The actor was felicitated by Bollywood divas Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma at a special event, which also witnessed the presence of director Sudhir Mishra, actress Neetu Chandra and composer Aadesh Srivastav.
The Grand Finale episode of ‘India’s Prime Icon’ with Bachchan winning top honours was telecast on February 1, 2013 on Big CBS Prime.
