Chetan Ahuja joins Media Direction as Media Director
Media Direction has brought on board Chetan Ahuja as Media Director. He will be working on brands such as Rasna and Seimens, among others. Les Margulis, President, RK Swamy Media Group/ Media Direction, has confirmed the appointment. Ahuja will be reporting to K Satyanarayana VP and Communications Officer, Media Direction.
Media Direction has brought on board Chetan Ahuja as Media Director. He will be working on brands such as Rasna and Seimens, among others. On Ahuja’s appointment, Margulis said, “We have a growing potential in business and needed an experienced hand to drive the Rasna and Siemens business, hence we decided to bring on board Chetan.”
Ahuja’s last stint was as Chief Manager - Research/ Planning at Dainik Bhaskar, where he worked from January 2008 to December 2009. He was earlier CM, India Today, from 2005-07. Prior to that, he had worked as Group Head, Lodestar Media, for two years from 2003-05, and for a year as Media Supervisor at Triton Communications (2002-03). He was also Senior Media Planner at JWT Mumbai from 1999-2002, and Senior Account Planner, Nimbus Communications Ltd, from 1998-99. Ahuja had begun his career with CEAT Ltd as Senior Product Officer in 1996.
