Cohn & Wolfe India, a leading global communications agency with offices in Delhi and Mumbai, has been appointed to represent four clients in India since launching in the region three months ago. Cohn & Wolfe India is headed by CEO Charlotte Chunawala, who reports directly to Global CEO Donna Imperato.

The new wins are from the consumer, energy, financial services and healthcare sectors and include AEG PS, producer of solar inverters and global premium power solutions manufacturer; Brazilian-born Havaiana flip-flops for client AP Group; The Hatch, a company that provides mentoring, funding and full support for high potential start-ups; and MYA Health Credit, which offers affordable loans for planned medical procedures at the point of need.

For these clients Cohn & Wolfe India will be working across a range of services from brand development, category building, celebrity outreach, business-to-business communication and awareness-raising.

“India is the fastest growing global economy after China and clients are recognising the crucial need for integrated communications that will differentiate them in this specific market,” said Chunawala.

Imperato added here, “We are delighted that our foray into the Indian market has started off with such fantastic new clients. We knew that opening in India would quickly broaden our offering and client base in Asia and it’s clear that our strong brand building heritage is resonating with companies in the Indian marketplace.”
