Dainik Bhaskar Group has maintained its No. 1 position, further strengthening its brand with 19.81 million readers, as per Indian Readership Survey (IRS) 2012 Q3 data.

Speaking on the IRS results, Pradeep Dwivedi, Chief Corporate Sales & Marketing Officer, Dainik Bhaskar Group said, “We are encouraged with the recent IRS results as they have reflected our aggressive efforts to reach our product to more readers and their endorsement of our news quality. We have always been buoyant about Maharashtra and it is gratifying to note that our efforts have started translating into good readership numbers and have made impressive gains. This is primarily a result of reader engagement and involvement and editorially a very superior product.”

Dainik Bhaskar Group has further strengthened its position cross all it main markets, which includes Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Chandigarh-Punjab-Haryana, and Gujarat.

Dainik Bhaskar Group’s Marathi newspaper, Divya Marathi, continues to make impressive inroads and has grown to 9.24 Lakh readers, adding 2.29 lakh readers in the last quarter. Divya Marathi provides complete central Maharashtra coverage through its five editions in Aurangabad, Nashik, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar and Solapur.
