DB Corp celebrates higher GST collection from their markets

The All India GST Collection for the month of September 2020 stood at Rs 95480 crore, accounting for a growth of 3.9% YOY

The All India GST Collection for the month of September 2020 stood at Rs 95480 crore, accounting for a growth of 3.9% YOY. Some regional markets showed however showed higher collections. The Dainik Bhaskar Group is celebrating the overall growth in all their nine markets to be higher than the national grwoth. According to them the fact that these markets are growing much faster than other markets and overall India markets is an positive indicator.

"This is a positive and encouraging sign for our markets and for marketers and advertisers to take note. This revalidates the E&Y report that Tier II and III towns are leading the economic recovery," said Girish Agarwal-Promoter Director Dainik Bhaskar Group.

Of all their nine markers, the highest collection came from Rajasthan with the state seeing collections of Rs 2647 crore, Chhattisgarh market saw the maximum growth of 24% against last year and collected Rs1841 crore. Haryana collected Rs 4712 crore against last year’s Rs 4110 crore, Gujarat saw collections to the tune of Rs 6090 crore, Jharkhand stood at Rs 653 crore, Himachal Pradesh at Rs 653 crore, Punjab was at Rs1194 crore and Madhya Pradesh and Bihar stood at Rs 2176 and Rs 996 respectively.

These nine markets put togther shows a grwoth of 10.3% YOY.
