EssBee Media appoints Rakesh Sharma as AVP, Sales & Development
Sharma is reporting to Sandeip Vishnoi and is responsible for circulation and sales of existing editions of National Duniya newspaper
EssBee Media, publisher of National Duniya newspaper, has appointed Rakesh Sharma as AVP, Sales and Development. He took charge from September 3, 2012. Sharma is reporting to Sandeip Vishnoi, COO, EssBee Media. He is responsible for growing the circulation sales of existing editions of National Duniya and implementing the expansion plans of the organisation.
Commenting on the appointment, Sandeip Vishnoi said, “Given Rakesh Sharma’s rich experience, his outstanding leadership skills and ability to lead large numbers of editions with his sound understanding of the market potential, he is well poised to lead our group into its next phase of growth.”

Sharma has spent 24 years in print media. Before joining EssBee Media, he had worked with organisations such as The Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagran , The Pioneer, Ananda Bazar Patrika and Business Standard.
In his last assignment he was working with Kids Animation India, a subsidy of Spacetoon India, as Vice President for North India, where his responsibilities included publishing, merchandising, retail, circulation, licensing and TV channel.
