Kanika Saxena quits UTV Bindass as AVP, Marketing

Kanika Sharma has put in her papers at UTV Bindass, where she was AVP, Marketing. She was with the channel for nearly two years and was reporting to Business Head, Nikhil Gandhi.

Sharma has around 10 years’ experience and had worked with channels such as Sahara One, Sony Entertainment and Zee TV prior to her stint at UTV Bindass.

Confirming the development, Nikhil Gandhi said, “Yes, Kanika has decided to move on. We are considering a few people for the position and shall update as soon as we finalise the same.”

Talking about her tenure at UTV Bindass, Sharma said, “I had the most wonderful two years at UTV Bindass. I am excited to explore new opportunities and the management has supported my decision.” On her future plans, Sharma said that she had been working non-stop for the past five years and would like to take a break before deciding on her next destination. “Currently, I am excited about the Indira Super Achiever Award, which I am receiving for excellence in marketing,” she added.
