Metro partners with CRY for digital contest to bring happiness for underprivileged kids
The #YellowFellow contest raises awareness about every child’s right to a happy childhood
This festive season, Metro shoes from the house of Metro Brands Ltd, has joined hands with CRY for a unique digital contest that aims to spread cheer and happiness in the lives of underprivileged kids in small yet effective way.
Metro shoes has partnered with an interesting online contest titled #YellowFellow by Child Rights and You (CRY), that intends to raise awareness about every child’s right to a happy childhood. For more than four decades, CRY and its partners have ensured lasting change in the lives of over 3 million underprivileged children in India. Joining the force is Metro shoes, who will take the message to a large audience by encouraging men and women to become a #YellowFellow.
The contest requires men and women to buy a pair of yellow socks from Metro’s website www. Metroshoes.net. Once they have received their pair of yellow socks, all they need to do is to click an interesting and innovative picture using the yellow socks in creative ways and post it on their digital platforms with a hashtag #YellowFellow and #MetroforCRY. This simple online engagement ensures that the participant win surprising gifts or discount on their next online Metro purchase. They also need to tag three of your friends and encourage them to become #YellowFellows too.
