MY FM, the flagship radio network of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, has always been instrumental in championing environmental awareness.
Taking a significant step towards nature conservation, MY FM launched its new campaign, "EK PED MAHTARI KE NAAM," during Independence Day week. This initiative is dedicated to raising awareness and uniting efforts to combat climate change.
The campaign was officially inaugurated on August 13th by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai. He flagged off a symbolic "Tree Chariot," emphasizing the critical need for action and community involvement.
In support of this initiative, over 100,000 seed balls have been distributed across 70 locations in the state, including schools, colleges and corporate offices. This distribution aims to engage the community and enhance local green spaces.
Rahul Namjoshi, CEO of MY FM, expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign, stating, “We are committed to making a positive impact on our environment. ‘EK PED MAHTARI KE NAAM’ is more than just a campaign; it’s a call to action for every individual and community to play a part in preserving our planet. Every tree planted today is a step towards a greener tomorrow.”
