Prabhat Khabar’s ‘Sur Sandhya’ enthralls all
Prabhat Khabar’s musical evening, Sur Sandhya, featuring Asha Bhosle and Babul Supriyo, was attended by almost 40,000 people
Jharkhand’s No. 1 Hindi daily Prabhat Khabar organised a musical evening,‘Sur Sandhya’, on January 8, 2012, which feature queen of melody Asha Bhosle and playback singer Babul Supriyo.
The gala evening was organised at Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Morabadi, Ranchi. Approximately 40,000 people, including 4,000 army officials, attended the gala show. Asha Bhosle sang a mix of her old hits and also some of her current tracks, which left the audience spellbound. An all charged-up Babul Supriyo also regaled the listeners with his popular songs.
The dignitaries attending the event included Ddeputy Chief Minister, the Chief Justice, senior Army officers, Ministers and IAS officials.
It turned to be an amazing evening for the audience, which consisted of people from Ranchi, as well as from neighbouring areas. For them it was a great way to start off the new year, on a lyrical note. It was indeed, an unforgettable evening as they were completely enthralled by the performances.
