Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has elected its new office bearers for the year 2013-15. The new office bearers were elected to the National Executive Board of Public Relations Council of India for the two-year term at the recently concluded Global Communication in Hyderabad. MB Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus, PRCI and other executive members were present.
RT Kumar, Director, Oyster Advertising, Bangalore has been elected as PRCI National Pres-ident. Bharathi Singh, Co-founder, Chief Executive Trustee and Training Head at SA-Mudra Foundation, The Personality School, Bangalore is the new Secretary General, National Ex-ecutive.
Vijaylakshmi, New Delhi; Rakesh Gulati, Director, Centum Advertising & Marketing, Hyderabad; and BN Kumar, Executive Director, Concept PR, Mumbai have been elected as Vice Presidents for North, South and West, respectively. BR Siddappa is the new National Treasurer.
Founded in 2004, the Public Relations Council of India is a nationwide corporate body having 24 chapters across India and abroad. PRCI has emerged as the foremost platform for public relations professionals for global exchange of ideas in corporate communications, image management, advertising and branding. So far, the body has conducted nine global meets and six national events.
