Puthiya Thalaimurai Television is set to host the esteemed 11th Annual Tamilan Awards on August 10, 2024, at 6pm at the Chennai Trade Center in Nandambakkam.

These awards celebrate the remarkable achievements of Tamils who have made significant contributions across Arts, Literature, Business, Science & Technology, Sports, and Social Work.

The awards stand out by honouring both seasoned veterans and promising young talents within each field. Past recipients include luminaries such as Actor Kamal Haasan, Directors Mani Ratnam and Bharathiraja, Music Composers A.R. Rahman and M.S. Viswanathan, Actress Radhika, Cricketers Srikanth and Robin Singh, ISRO Scientists Mylswamy Annadurai and K. Sivan, Chess Players Viswanathan Anand and Pragnananda, and Athlete Mariyappan.
