Radio Mantra initiates RJ Giri in Haryana
The initiative gives budding RJs in Haryana to showcase their talent and be a part of the Radio Mantra family
Radio Mantra, the radio arm of Jagran Group, returned with their Radio Jockey Hunt called ‘RJ Giri’, starting March 4, 2013.
The competition gives budding talent in the state of Haryana to come forward. The competition will be conducted in six cities – Ambala, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Rohtak, Hissar and Karnal. The key spots for auditions will be colleges and malls.
Sharing his insights, Kanwar Sameer, National Programming Head, Radio Mantra said, “I’m happy that we could deliver some real good content as well as equally good talent in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab last year. With the third edition of RJ Giri, we look forward to create some great engaging content and give youngsters of Haryana a great platform to showcase their talent. I am sure response is going to be as overwhelming as our previous editions.”
Aspiring RJs will be auditioned on the basis of their spontaneity, clarity, sense of humour, overall personality and the local connect. The hunt will be spread over various elimination stages and involve multiple on-ground tasks.
Radio Mantra has joined hands with several brands such as Hero MotoCorp, Primezone, OPS Jewellers, Pukhraj, Liberty, and Noor Mahal to support this activity. The event auditions are open till March 17, 2013.
