Rajiv Girhotra joins Business Standard as Regional Head
Rajiv Girhotra has joined Business Standard as Regional Head. He took charge from April 5, 2010. Prior to joining Business Standard, he was with Indian Express, where he was heading the International Business division. In his new role as General Manager (North & International), Business Standard, Girhotra will be responsible for ad sales revenues for the leading business daily from Northern India as well as international markets. He will be reporting to Sachin Phansikar, Vice President - Sales.

Girhotra has over 18 years’ experience in sales domain, including print media and trade fairs, spread across regional, national and international markets. Girhotra began his career with Indian Express in 1992, before moving on to Media Scope and had worked in the exhibition business from 1995 to 1999. He returned to Indian Express and had been working there from 1999 to 2010.
