Sakal appoints GK Singh for its North & East operations
Sakal newspaper has appointed GK Singh as Head of North and East operations. Prior to this, Singh was working with Midday Infomedia Ltd. where he was Associate Vice President- North.

G K Singh has an experience of more than 21 years in the media industry. During these years he has worked on various platforms like Print, TV and digital. Some of the organisations he has worked in the past are Indian Express, Chitralekha, Amar Ujala besides Midday. On television front, he was a part of a group called Multimedia in 1994, where he sold a serial on DD2 called Sarab.
In 2001 he was a part of the team that successfully launched the Varanasi edition of Amar Ujala.
Sakal Media group’s other print titles include Saptahik Sakal (magazine in Marathi language),Agrown (an agriculture daily), Tanishka (a Marathi woman magazine) and Premier(a film magazine in Marathi).
