MCCS’ reality show ‘Star Anchor Hunt’ has found a place in the latest edition of Limca Book of Records. Launched first on June 20, 2010, ‘Star Anchor Hunt’ allows journalists to opt for a rewarding career in television journalism. Shortlisted candidates are groomed for the show and two winners are selected, who walk away with a three-year job contract.

Talking to exchange4media, Neeraj Sanan, Vice President, Marketing and Distribution, MCCS, said, “This is a first of its kind show and has met with a huge success, and I appreciate that our initiative has made it to the Limca Book of Records.”

On the plans ahead, he said, “We are replicating the content in West Bengal on Star Ananda as ‘Ananda Anchor Hunt’.”

Vijaya Ghose, Editor, Limca Book of Records, has recognised this programme and issued the certificate.
