Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers in Japan, Suzuki Motor Corporation, launched two new models – Hayate and Swish 125 - on the inaugural day of Auto Expo 2012. While the Hayate marks SMIPL’s venture into the mass market motorcycle category, Swish 125 is an addition to its bestselling scooter range, Access.

At Auto Expo 2012, the theme of ‘Apna way of life’ is meant to reflect Suzuki’s approach of developing products from the customer’s point of view and celebrates the ways in which its customers’ lives relate to the products from Suzuki Motorcycle India.

Speaking at the launch, Ichiro Kondo, Managing Director, SMIPL, said, “Suzuki two-wheelers in India are testimony to the company’s DNA of creating value-packed-products. Suzuki is known worldwide for superior technology bikes such as the legendary Hayabusa. We intend to showcase the same in India. Suzuki is fully committed to developing products that meet the Indian customer’s demand by utilizing its dynamic technological advantage and its human resources.”
