In a bid to further fortify its presence in a highly competitive market, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd (TBVFL), one of India’s leading chain of health clubs, has come up with new promotional offers for the New Year.
Beginning January 1, 2011, Talwalkars is offering its patrons elite branded marketing gifts worth Rs 6,000 for free on taking a membership of its annual Complete Health Club Facility (CHCF).
Prashant Talwalkar, CEO, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd, said, “As the leader in the health and fitness industry in India, we are looking at creating mass consciousness within consumers about the benefits of healthy living, and there is no better occasion to start than the New Year.”
Speaking on this marketing initiative, Nitin Shakdher, Vice-President, Marketing, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd, said, “The new year brings with it an upsurge in consumers who would like to be fit, be health conscious, and lead a positive life. It’s also our resolution to help and create a healthier, happier India.”
Talwalkars led the way to health clubs in India with its first gym being set up in Mumbai way back in 1932 by late Vishnu Talwalkar. His eldest son Madhukar Talwalkar, Chairman, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd, further continued the legacy under the name ‘Talwalkars Gymnasium’ in Bandra, Mumbai in 1962 and the brand has been rapidly growing ever since. Today, the chain has over 79 gyms across 41 cities, catering to clients with a set of diverse services, including gyms, spas, aerobics and health counselling under the brand name Talwalkars.
