The Free Press Journal, a cornerstone of Mumbai’s media landscape for 95 years now, has officially announced the launch of its invigorating new brand campaign.

‘Free Press For A Better Mumbai’ is a media campaign that underscores The Free Press Journal’s unique style of speaking up for the city and speaking up until action follows and problems are resolved.

The 'Free Press For A Better Mumbai’ will target readers through digital media, apart from an outreach at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport’s domestic terminal, Mumbai and a long stretch of highway hoardings with the newspaper’s distinctive insignia. The campaign is designed and created by LadyFinger Creative Agency.

The Free Press Journal has consistently strived to be more than just a chronicler of events. “We have always embraced our responsibility as an agent of change and a catalyst for progress in our beloved city. Our new brand campaign encapsulates this mission succinctly,” said Abhishek Karnani, director of The Free Press Journal.

The company said its tagline in the new advertisements, ‘We See What Others Don’t’, is more than a statement—it is a promise. “For us at the FPJ, it signifies our commitment to uncovering the hidden stories, the unspoken fears and the unaddressed issues that concern our readers,” said Karnani.

He said the newspaper’s legacy is one of responsible journalism, and the new brand campaign affirms their commitment to shaping a better future for Mumbai.

He said current and forthcoming editorial initiatives will underline this promise, and will resonate with every citizen. Following a hugely successful editorial campaign for pothole-free roads in the financial capital, current and upcoming campaigns seek to ignite conversations that matter on services, public amenities and quality of life in the city, including public transport, air pollution and more.

The Free Press Journal’s representatives said their readers are a discerning lot, and this initiative serves as an ode to their sensibilities, reinforcing the newspaper’s mission to remain at the forefront of responsible and impactful journalism in Mumbai.
